- Were already the first Greek team to reach the quarter-finals before taking a step further to Nyon. Now only the second Greek club to made a UEFA competition final after Panathinaikos in the 1970/71 European Cup.
- Isidoros Koutsidis, an unused senior substitute on Thursday as Olympiacos beat Fenerbahçe on penalties in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-finals, flew in from Istanbul to start Friday's semi-final. Last year Wouter Goes of AZ Alkmaar did exactly the same after a senior tie against Anderlecht (also won on spot kicks), helping the Dutch club win both their Geneva semi-final against Sporting CP on penalties and then the decider with Hajduk Split three days later.
