The application period for UEFA EURO 2012 accreditations started today and closes on 15 January. Accreditation confirmations will be sent by the end of February.

Media representatives and event non-rights-holding television broadcasters can apply for accreditation and media bookings via the following links to the media and broadcaster portals of FAME.

Media: https://media.fame.uefa.com

Non-rights-holding TV broadcasters and radio stations: https://broadcasters.fame.uefa.com

All media representatives and/or their companies that do not possess a FAME account must register via FAME. Once the registration is approved, the account holder may apply for accreditation and match specific bookings. Individual media representatives can register on http://www.uefa.com/MIUFAMEregistration.

Non-rights-holding TV and radio stations are invited to contact UEFA Media Accreditation Services via the fame_accreditations@uefa.ch email for details about the corporate user policy (person responsible for entering and managing all accreditation requests and match specific bookings for a company).

In case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, please advise UEFA Media Accreditation Services immediately by writing to: fame_accreditations@uefa.ch.

No-shows will be taken into consideration across all other UEFA events.

There are five subcategories for non-broadcast media accreditation:
• Written press
• Website reporters
• Photographers
• Photo editors from photo agencies
• Photo technicians

All non-broadcast media with confirmed accreditations will have a Tournament Pass with the geographical code POL-UKR, which will grant them access to all stadiums.

Non-rights-holding TV and radio stations may access the tournament venues for the media activities on matchday minus one. Non-rights-holding TV and radio stations will not be granted access to stadiums on matchdays.

Media supplementary access devices (SADs)
In order to gain access to the media sector or pitch on matchday, accredited non-broadcast media must have confirmed match SADs in addition to their Tournament Pass. Match SADs for the group stage can be requested during the same application period via the media booking module in FAME.
