With Olympiacos FC having taken the title, Panathinaikos FC secured top spot in the Greek Super League play-offs and ensured their place in next season's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round following a 2-0 win against AEK Athens FC.
Gilberto Silva, who is set to leave Panathinaikos after three years in Athens said: "I am very happy we managed to achieve our goal, a Champions League spot. However, I would have preferred to part company with Panathinaikos after having won another title."
AEK will participate in the UEFA Europa League play-offs as holders of the Greek Cup, while PAOK FC finished in style with a 5-1 home victory over Olympiacos Volou FC on Wednesday, thus confirming their place in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.
Olympiacos Volou will compete in European competition for the first time in their history after finishing fifth with Olympiacos having qualified directly for the UEFA Champions League group stage after securing a 38th league title in March.
