2027 UEFA Conference League final: Istanbul

Following finals in Albania, Czechia, Greece, Poland and Germany, the UEFA Conference League comes to Türkiye for the 2026/27 decider.

Where is the 2027 Conference League final?

The 2026/27 UEFA Conference League season will conclude at Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul, Türkiye, in what will be the sixth final of the tournament that encourages fresh talent to flourish.

The showpiece will be the third major UEFA event to take place at Beşiktaş Park following the 2019 UEFA Super Cup game, in which Liverpool beat Chelsea 5-4 on penalties following a 2-2 draw, and the 2026 UEFA Europa League final, in which Aston Villa beat Freiburg 3-0.

The home of 16-time Turkish Super League champions Beşiktaş, the venue stands on the north side of the Bosphorus and has a capacity of around 40,000.

The 2027 UEFA Conference League final will be held on Wednesday 2 June.

Will there be extra time and penalties in the Conference League final?

If scores are level at the end of normal time, two 15-minute periods of extra time are played. If one of the teams scores more goals than the other during extra time, that team are declared the winners. If scores remain level after extra time, the winners are determined by a penalty shoot-out.

History of Beşiktaş Park

• The home of 16-time Turkish champions Beşiktaş, Beşiktaş Park opened in 2016 and has a capacity of over 40,000 for domestic games. A UEFA Category 4 venue, it staged the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League final, in which Aston Villa beat Freiburg 3-0.
• The stadium has a historic look so it blends in with the other major sights on the north bank of the Bosphorus: Dolmabahçe Palace, the Dolmabahçe Clock Tower and the Dolmabahçe Mosque.
• The new stadium was the venue for the first major UEFA men's final to be refereed by a woman, Stéphanie Frappart overseeing Liverpool's shoot-out win against Chelsea in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup.
• The stadium stands on the site of Beşiktaş's previous home which opened in 1947 as the Dolmabahçe Stadium; it was renamed the Inönü Stadium in 1973 in honour of Türkiye's second president İsmet İnönü (a Beşiktaş fan who was attended the venue's inauguration).

What do the Conference League winners get?

The UEFA Conference League trophy stands 57.5cm tall and weighs 11kg. It consists of 32 hexagonal spines that twist and curve from the trophy base.

The base and top are made from hand-brushed brass with a matte galvanic steel effect, while the spines feature a glossy silver finishing. The trophy was designed in London studio Pentagram.
